Subject Area Information

These pages contain curriculum, information, and resources for the subjects being taught in OCPS. Curriculum and standards are fluid, and therefore these sites serve as the official source of information for their respective areas.

At Eagles’ Nest Elementary, we are dedicated to nurturing the academic and personal growth of every student. We proudly serve students from Title I Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) through fifth grade, offering a rigorous curriculum aligned with the Florida Standards to ensure all students are prepared for future success.

Our school includes providing individualized support in a caring and inclusive environment. Across all classrooms, our teachers use differentiated instruction to meet the unique learning needs of each student, helping them achieve their highest potential.

In addition to strong academics, Eagles’ Nest Elementary offers a variety of extracurricular activities that enrich the student experience and promote leadership, creativity, and teamwork. Students can participate in:

  • Chorus (4th & 5th Grade Only)
  • Girl TLK Club
  • Safety Patrols (5th Grade Only)
  • Cheerleading /  Dance (3rd, 4th, 5th Grades Only)
  • ...and more!

These programs provide students with opportunities to explore their interests, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships.

    Grading Scale and Honor Roll

    Grading procedures determined by Orange County Public Schools

     

    Grading Procedures for grades K-5 are as follows:

    Kindergarten – 1st Grade 2nd – 5th Grade
    S = Satisfactory A = 90 – 100
    W = Working B = 80 – 89
    N = Needs Improvement C = 70 – 79
    U = Unsatisfactory D = 60 – 69
      F = 0 – 59

     

    The criteria for Honor Roll for grades 2 - 5 is a follows:
