Principal's Message

Hello, Eagle’s Nest Families!

It is with great pleasure that I welcome our students, parents and family members to the 2021-2022 school year.  I hope this message finds you and each of your family members safe and healthy.

As the principal of Eagle’s Nest Elementary, I am grateful for the collaborative staff and families that are present in the building, as well as our community partners who understand that “it takes a village” is just not a cliché.  We are committed to providing the best education for all students in a caring and child-centered environment, and our Nest is filled with gratitude for your support.

Yours in Education,

Principal Adams

For the past two weeks, students and teachers alike have been bringing in their non perishable items to donate to those affected by the hurricane in New Orleans. These items included cereal boxes, canned food, bags of sugar, water bottles, and crackers. Our students showed out everyday, fueled by the desire to help those in need (and by the promise of a pizza party).

We would like to congratulate Mrs. Jacob's fifth grade class for bringing in the most food and winning a pizza party. Congratulations also to Ms. Cardona's kindergarten class for winning second place.

Also, a huge thank you to Ms. Jacobs for organizing the drive and encouraging students, parents and staff alike to participate. It was a great success thanks in large part to Ms. Jacobs' dedication.

Eagle's Nest is so proud of its students for making a difference outside our community. Our students truly are remarkable!
